Greg learned early-on that everything starts with the blues! While his playing is certainly blues-infused, his melodic bass lines weave in and out of the pocket, adding a fluid feel to the music he plays. For Greg, the bottom line is about moving the music!

Influenced greatly by the Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniel's, Lynyrd Skynyrd and that Little Ol' Band from Texas, the sounds of the south are bred into every note Greg plays.

Originally from the Kansas City area, Greg was playing clubs in bands before he was out of school.
It was a trip to check out the Austin music scene when Greg knew Texas was the place to be. He was soon southbound and it didn't take long for him to feel at home in the live music capital of the world.

It was a trip to check out the Austin music scene when Greg knew Texas was the place to be. He was soon southbound and it didn't take long for him to feel at home in the live music capital of the world.
Life happens, and a few years later Greg put music on the back burner, focused on raising a family and pursued various business endeavors. It was then that he recorded an original southern/rock-gospel project titled, "Where Eagles Dare To Fly". He also played in different bands and eventually helped form a group called the "Dirtgrass Canyon Band".

In 2019, Greg moved to Wimberley, Texas and put music back on the front burner. Since then, he has played all over central Texas with many artists. He currently handles the low frequency parts with the Anthony Wright Band. From 2024-2026, Greg played bass with the Ace Pepper Group and also appeared with a group called "Janky" at the Cross
