Michael spent a year touring with Dickey until the Allman Brothers Band decided to reunite in 1979.

Originally born in Texas, Michael's family moved to Massachusetts in his teenage years. It was there his father took him to see the Beatles, which made a lasting impression and started Michael on his lifelong journey of playing music. After his time with Dickey Betts, Michael returned to Texas to live in San Antonio, which he still calls home today.

Since moving back to Texas, Michael has performed and recorded with many popular South Texas bands including Messenger, Snapshot, Blackrose, and The Reach. He also worked with a variety of acts but now brings his accomplished talent and soulful keyboards to be part of the Anthony Wright Band!
